Infrared Sauna

THE INFRARED SAUNA DIFFERENCE

In a traditional sauna, heated to 180f, the body produces sweat, in an effort to cool itself from the hot air. In an infrared sauna the body is being heated by the infrared signal which penetrates the body, heating your muscles and first layer of fat where a lot of toxins are stored.

Detoxification
Sweating is one of the body’s most natural ways to eliminate toxins, making it a crucial part of detoxification. Detox from a Infrared Sauna is 7 to 10 times greater than a conventional sauna.

Pain Relief
Relieve back, neck, muscle, joint and arthritis pain with infrared sauna heat therapy. Infrared saunas can relieve this form of inflammation by increasing circulation and relaxing your muscles.

Weight Loss
A 30 minute infrared sauna session can burn up to 200-600 calories! As the body works to cool itself while using an infrared sauna, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate.

Lowers Blood Pressure
A clinical study with the University of Missouri Kansas City in 2005 showed to lower blood pressure from a 30 minute sauna session three times a week. Repeated infrared treatment improves impaired blood vessel functions in patients with high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol.

Relaxation

Infrared sauna therapy promotes relaxation by helping to balance your body’s level of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone. The heat generated by the sauna will also help to relax muscles and relieve tension throughout the body.

Improves Circulation

Heating of muscles with infrared produces an increased blood flow level similar to that seen during exercise.

Skin Purification
Improve your skin’s appearance with regular use. Open wounds heal quicker with reduced scarring. Infrared heat therapy helps acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns and any skin lesions or cuts. It also reduces wrinkles, makes skin look radiant, firms and improves skin tone and elasticity.

Sunlighten Infrared Sauna's Vs Traditional Sauna

The Infrared Sauna Experience and Results are far different than a Traditional Sauna. Conventional hot rock/steam heat saunas heat the air with steam, which can often be unbearably hot and will cause you to only sweat at the surface of the tissue. Steam also makes the air difficult to breathe.

An infrared sauna uses soothing dry infrared heat that is well ventilated and extremely comfortable and relaxing. The experience of an infrared sauna is similar to sunbathing, which gives you the radiant heat that is all your own. Infrared light is part of the sun’s invisible spectrum of light that has the ability to penetrate the human tissue. Infrared heat therapy uses these infrared light characteristics to heat the body directly rather than just the air. Unlike sunbathing, infrared heat therapy is completely healthy and safe. You can relax in an infrared sauna and it will not cause your skin to burn.

Infrared saunas increase the body’s core temperature thus resulting in a much deeper, more detoxifying sweat from the cellular level of the skin where many toxins are housed.

Infrared heat therapy has also been shown to assist with weight loss, pain relief, improved circulation and skin rejuvenation.

Establish Natural Balance with Chromatherapy Lighting

Chromotherapy is the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Human's need the sun's light, which is broken into seven distinct rays, to live. If there is an imbalance in these colors within our bodies, it can manifest itself in mental or physical distress. Each color possesses frequencies of a specific vibration, and each vibration is related to different physical symptoms. Chromotherapy works on various energy points to help your body re-establish its natural balance. It accomplishes this via the full spectrum of visible light, each color of which addresses a separate bodily need.
